Job summary

Butler County is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Department on Aging in Augusta, KS. The role supports planning and directing aging services, managing grant-funded programs, and handling clerical tasks and communications.

The Coordinator may act as Director in their absence and oversee program reporting and outreach efforts. Requirements include a four-year related experience plus a high school diploma or GED, or a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years related experience preferred; includes budget and program support.
• Experience with grant-funded programs and aging services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct activities of the Department on Aging programs.
• Manage grant-funded programs and prepare required reports.
• Provide case management coordination and service referrals as needed.
• Step in as acting department director in the Director’s absence.
• Coordinate marketing and outreach for in-home services and events.
