Job summary

Volunteers of America Oklahoma is seeking a Service Coordinator to join our Salina, Kansas team. This on-site role coordinates services for residents, acts as a liaison with healthcare providers and social service agencies, and educates residents on available resources.

Responsibilities include coordinating service provisions, engaging with community resources, and supporting residents to maintain independence, while working 8-5 Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 3 years working with aging adults in a direct service capacity or a related degree.
• Knowledge of aging process, elder services, disability services, and mental health issues.
• Need to be on call 24/7 and respond to emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents and families in identifying services to maintain independence.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on community resources.
