Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an Aging Case Aide 2 for the Wayne County Area Agency on Aging. You will support older adults by sharing information, coordinating services, and assisting with program activities to improve seniors’ access to resources.

Responsibilities include benefits guidance (Medicare, PACE, LIHEAP), outreach, and record keeping; telework is not available. PA residency and background checks are required. Salary is around $29,484 annually.

Qualifications

• One year as an Aging Case Aide 1 or two years of public contact work, including one year in a human services program, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• You must meet PA residency requirements and be able to perform essential job functions.
• You must pass a background investigation and drug screening; this position falls under Child Protective Services Law and requires clearances.

Responsibilities

• Support older adults through information sharing, outreach, service coordination, and program assistance across Wayne County.
• Provide benefits guidance for Medicare, PACE, LIHEAP, and related programs.
• Assist with application forms, home visits, and coordination of senior center events and meal distribution.
• Maintain records and complete data entry in agency systems.
