Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a SAM team member to develop SBOM solutions, integrate with GitLab and JFrog Artifactory, and align SBOM data with licensing and inventory sources for compliance and risk management. The role emphasizes remote work and cross-tool integrations.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines, reporting, dashboards, and ensuring data quality while leveraging ServiceNow SAM and related platforms in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ServiceNow development/configuration or SAM
• Experience with APIs, integrations, workflows, scripts, automation
• Knowledge of SBOM concepts and software component management
• Experience with Jira and Agile development practices
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop and support SBOM data collection, processing, enrichment, integration, and reporting
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and user stories
• Build integrations between GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, ServiceNow SAM and other systems
• Develop processes to normalize software components and associate with records
• Correlate SBOM data with license, entitlement, and inventory data
• Support SBOM formats like CycloneDX and SPDX and standards (CVE, CPE, PURL)
• Create reporting, dashboards, data-quality monitoring and exception handling
• Troubleshoot integration and data-quality issues
• Maintain ServiceNow SAM solutions and SBOM module following best practices
• Collaborate with ITAM and ServiceNow Platform teams
• Review releases and support enhancements for SAM/SBOM
• Use Agile and Jira to manage tasks, stories, defects, testing
• Document changes and support deployment processes
• Support knowledge transfer, production validation and deployments
