Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a ServiceNow SAM Developer to build SBOM integrations and enhance SAM capabilities in a remote setting. You will develop and integrate SBOM solutions, align data with licensing and inventory sources, and support compliance and risk identification.

Responsibilities include creating integrations with GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, ServiceNow SAM, and other tools; developing reports, dashboards, and data quality monitoring; and guiding agile development with Jira.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ServiceNow development/configuration
• Experience with SAM solutions and SBOM
• Experience with APIs, integrations, workflows, scripts, automation
• Experience with ServiceNow Request Management, Service Catalog, RITMs, approvals, workflows
• Knowledge of licensing, entitlements, reconciliation, and inventory data

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, implement, and support SBOM data collection, processing, validation, normalization, enrichment, integration, and reporting.
• Translate requirements into technical requirements, user stories, development tasks, and working solutions.
• Develop integrations between GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, ServiceNow SAM, Flexera, Technopedia/DejaCode, and other systems.
• Normalize software components and link them to applications and software records.
• Correlate SBOM data with license, entitlement, and inventory data for compliance and risk identification.
• Support CycloneDX and SPDX formats and related standards.
• Develop reporting, dashboards, data-quality monitoring, and exception handling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration, processing, and data-quality issues.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow SAM solutions and SBOM Module following best practices.
• Build discovery, normalization, licensing, entitlements, reconciliation, compliance, and lifecycle management workflows.
• Maintain ServiceNow request management capabilities and automated workflows.
• Develop and maintain integrations, APIs, scripts, workflows, and scheduled processes for SAM.
• Collaborate with ITAM Solutions and ServiceNow Platform teams for alignment.
• Review ServiceNow releases and support enhancements affecting SAM/SBOM.
• Use Agile practices and Jira to manage tasks, stories, defects, testing, and delivery.
• Perform developer/unit testing and support UAT.
• Maintain technical documentation and change/deployment processes.
• Support implementation, knowledge transfer, production validation, and troubleshooting.
• Manage multiple development activities and enhancements.
• Participate in after-hours/weekend deployments and releases.
