Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced ServiceNow SAM Developer to join our Strategic Operations Project Team. You will engineer, configure, and deploy ITSM modernization efforts for AFDW and DAF, building workflows, custom apps, and integrations that replace legacy processes.

You will design end-to-end asset lifecycles, optimize data models, and deliver dashboards and audit reports, while collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience; masters with 6+ years accepted.
• 4+ years of ServiceNow development and scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, XML).
• ServiceNow CIS required; CIS ITSM preferred; advanced certifications a plus.
• Strong ITAM/SAM/HAM and ITOM (CMDB, Discovery) expertise.
• Proven experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations and governance.

Responsibilities

• SAM & ITAM module engineering and configuration of SAM Pro and HAM Pro integrations.
• License and compliance operations: entitlement models, metrics, normalization, reconciliation.
• Lifecycle automation: design end-to-end asset lifecycles with Flow Designer and workflows.
• Platform development: custom apps, code, test, and deploy across ServiceNow.
• Scripting and logic: implement clean, maintainable code with standard enterprise patterns.
• Data modeling: optimize CMDB relations and asset table schemas.
• Integrations, data management and reporting for dashboards and audits.
• Deployment, change management, upgrades, and ATF validations.
• Stakeholder collaboration and knowledge transfer; translate business rules to technical specs.
