Job summary

NetImpact Strategies Inc. seeks a Senior ServiceNow Developer to provide hands-on platform engineering for a Federal Agency.

You will deliver complex remediation, integrations, automation, scripting, and scoped applications while ensuring upgradeability with reusable, tested ServiceNow-native solutions. Qualifications

• Five+ years of ServiceNow development in enterprise environments.
• Strong JavaScript/Glide development with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, MID Servers, OAuth/service accounts and reusable integration patterns.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, code scanning, ATF or automated testing and governed release promotion.
• ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications; CIS certification preferred.
• Understand performance, security, upgradeability, data modeling and technical debt.
• Support early engineering window and after-hours/on-call events.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to satisfy background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and maintain ServiceNow platform capabilities per user stories and designs.
• Perform Tier 3 remediation and root-cause analysis for production issues, automations, and integrations.
• Develop server- and client-side logic using JavaScript/Glide, UI policies, and flows.
• Design reusable enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP, MID Servers, and credentials with proper error handling.
• Build scoped/low-code apps, catalogs, workflows, and portals while preserving upgradeability.
• Use source control, CI/CD, code scanning, and automated tests to validate changes.
• Collaborate with CTA on design/code reviews and with testers on ATF/regression coverage.
• Provide depth during incidents to restore operations and isolate causes.
• Document technical designs, release notes, and transition materials for sustainment.
