Job summary
NetImpact Strategies seeks a Principal ServiceNow Platform Architect to act as the technical authority for a Federal Agency’s enterprise ServiceNow platform, safeguarding architecture, security, data, and integrations while enabling multiple product and O&M teams on a shared platform. This role requires U.S.
citizenship and a post-award government background check, with proven expertise in enterprise ServiceNow architecture, ITSM/ITOM/ITAM, integrations, and secure connectivity, plus leadership
Qualifications
- Eight+ years of ServiceNow platform experience across enterprise deployments and operations.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain platform architecture standards and roadmaps.
- Lead architecture reviews for platform solutions and integrations; favor out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Own technical direction for platform integrations, identity/SSO, data interfaces, and API design.
- Lead security reviews, POA&M remediation, and security engineering decisions with government teams.
- Define data architecture and governance for ServiceNow, including CMDB patterns and data hygiene.
- Guide upgrades, health scans, release risk decisions, and automated testing strategy.
- Provide technical leadership to governance boards and mentor administrators and developers.
- Support transition in/out by validating live baselines and documenting dependencies.
