Job summary

Truist is seeking a Sr. ServiceNow Platform Engineer/Architect to design, build, and govern scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions.

The role leads complex programs, partners with product and engineering teams, and drives modernization, automation, and AI-enabled improvements across the platform. Ideal candidates bring strong software development experience, platform governance, and deep knowledge of ServiceNow architectures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development.
Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
Deep understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, and security practices.

Responsibilities

Implements ServiceNow software architecture and engineering approaches for complex initiatives with major impact.
Adopts and refines advanced ServiceNow software engineering standards and governance.
Collaborates with senior engineers, product partners, and architecture teams to shape technology approaches.
Leads end‑to‑end technical design and implementation of scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Independently troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues to improve performance and reliability.
Provides ongoing technical guidance, coaching, and training to engineers.
