Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Lead Developer to guide design, development, integration, and enhancement of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. You will provide technical leadership to teams, drive platform best practices, and deliver scalable solutions across ITSM, CMDB, CSDM, ITOM, ITAM/HAM, CSM, and HRSD.

You will mentor developers, collaborate with stakeholders, support upgrades, and ensure governance and quality throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of ServiceNow development and administration.
• 2+ years leading ServiceNow teams or projects.
• Strong JS, Glide API, and module experience (ITSM/CMDB/CSDM).
• Experience with at least two additional modules (ITOM/ITAM/HAM/CSM/HRSD).
• REST/SOAP integrations and MID Server configurations.
• Agile/Scrum and ITIL governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead development activities, reviews, and deployment planning.
• Design and implement solutions across ITSM, CMDB, and CSDM.
• Develop Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Flows.
• Architect integrations via REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
• Govern CMDB, Discovery schedules, and data reconciliation.
• Mentor developers and support teams; drive upgrades and testing.
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow standards and best practices.
