Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a ServiceNow L3 Developer to join a hybrid, multi-module platform engineering team in Durham, NC. You will drive automation, support ITSM/ITOM, and coordinate production releases while collaborating with offshore teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities include building integrations, enhancing workflows, and rolling out features like ATF and Virtual Agent, with a focus on well-documented, tested solutions for long-term reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow development in a multi‑module environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with system integrations and process automation (Workflow Data Fabric).
• Web service integration experience (REST/SOAP).
• Directory services integration (AD, Azure AD, LDAP).
• Familiarity with PowerShell, JavaScript, Ansible, Terraform, Python, XML, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation for application support activities, deployments, health checks, monitoring, and alerting.
• Support automation, orchestration, and integration initiatives on ServiceNow.
• Develop enhancements with offshore team: requests, forms, portal, workflows.
• Collaborate with users and operations to translate requirements into self-service options.
• Roll out ServiceNow features (ATF, Virtual Agent) and support platform upgrades.
• Coordinate release of enhancements with quality testing and timely delivery.
• Create custom tools to automate production processes and generate metrics/reports.
• Produce documentation for maintenance and repair of automation scripts.
