Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is a growing organization hosting Epsilon, Inc. within a unified team. We seek a skilled ServiceNow Developer III to design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities that support mission-critical IT service management functions.

You will partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable platform solutions, lead integrations via REST/SOAP, and apply AI features like Now Assist to improve service delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen; able to pass federal background check and obtain Public Trust.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow applications.
• Experience with JavaScript, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP.
• Experience in ITSM, Service Catalog, CMDB, Asset Management, Knowledge Management.
• Hands-on ServiceNow Now Assist configuration and AI features.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into ServiceNow solutions.
• Design, develop, configure, test, and maintain ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and integrations.
• Lead development across ITSM, request management, knowledge, asset, CMDB, and other modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure performance and data quality.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server.
• Create technical documentation and assist with deployments and testing.
• Support government/contractor teams with status updates and demonstrations.
