Job summary

SAIC is seeking a senior ServiceNow IT Operations Management Architect to serve as the technical authority for a federal IT infrastructure program. You will design and deliver the CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and AIOps-driven Monitoring capabilities, leading integrations with Splunk and other tools and advancing automation and AI roadmaps.

Qualifications

• BS and 18 years overall IT experience, 4 years can substitute degree
• 15+ years enterprise IT architecture with ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB focus
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. public trust (Citizenship)
• Deep experience in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Software Asset Management
• Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with Splunk, SMARTS, or Dynatrace
• Proven CMDB accuracy in large-scale environments (thousands of CI)
• Strong Azure and AWS hybrid-cloud integration delivering cloud service catalogs
• Experience in federal/regulatory settings bridging mission, compliance and tech execution
• Core automation, orchestration, discovery, and event management skills

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain an enterprise CMDB in ServiceNow with Discovery and dashboards
• Lead Service Mapping for mission-critical apps and CI relationships
• Migrate data from third-party discovery tools into ServiceNow and manage ongoing CMDB
• Maintain CMDB accuracy at scale across thousands of configuration items
• Architect a ServiceNow Monitoring & Event Management (AIOps) platform with automated remediation workflows
• Design integrations with Splunk and other enterprise monitoring tools and create dashboards
• Consolidate security and infrastructure data into a unified operations center
• Integrate vulnerability data for risk workflows including ticketing and triage
• Design integration patterns across Azure Entra ID, Splunk, and dependency-mapping tools
• Lead automation and orchestration improvements in ServiceNow
• Advise on AI roadmap including RPA/AI/ML, AI-powered agents, and knowledge management
