Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Architect (ITOM) to join our IT team on a 6-month contract. This is a senior-level position where you will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives for a global manufacturing leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall ServiceNow ITOM architecture and roadmap (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, CMDB).
• Lead workshops with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical governance and establish best practices for ITOM deployment across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with IT leadership, ServiceNow developers, and third-party partners to ensure seamless integrations and high-quality delivery.
• Optimize CMDB health, data integrity, and automation to support proactive monitoring and operational resilience.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on ServiceNow platform strategy and ITOM capabilities.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure knowledge transfer across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in ServiceNow architecture and solution design.
• Strong expertise in ITOM modules: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and CMDB.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations.
• Hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow integrations with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
• Solid understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and IT operations processes in a large enterprise environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITOM) and/or Certified System Administrator; Architect certification preferred.
• Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)
• Location: East Coast, USA (onsite presence required for key project phases)
• Start Date: Immediate / Flexible
