Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer (ServiceNow Information Architect) in Round Rock, TX to lead the enterprise information model and governance across CMDB, CSDM, ITAM, and SAM. You will design, implement, and govern integrations and data standards that enable trusted asset data and service delivery.

The role requires deep ServiceNow expertise, influential data architecture, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and scalable IT

Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, ITAM and SAM in large enterprises.
• Strong understanding of data governance and information architecture.
• Proven ability to design enterprise information models across assets, software and services.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise information model within ServiceNow across CSDM, CMDB, ITAM, SAM, and related data domains
• Lead governance of asset and software registries, defining taxonomy, ownership, lifecycle, metadata standards, and data sources
• Establish and maintain CMDB and CSDM standards, service modeling, CI relationships, data quality, lifecycle governance
• Define and govern integrations across Discovery, Service Graph, ITAM, SAM, Cloud, ERP, HR, Security, Identity, Procurement, and DevOps
• Drive enterprise data governance with standards for metadata, stewardship, reporting semantics, reference data, lifecycle management
