Job summary

LightFeather is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow solutions for federal projects. The role requires deep technical expertise, leadership, and experience driving secure, scalable implementations. Remote, full-time, EST hours with U.S.

citizenship clearance requirements. You will lead development teams, integrate with external systems using REST/SOAP, and deliver modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Service Portal.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
• Active DHS Public Trust clearance or higher is required.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow App Engine and custom application development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, development, and deployment of ServiceNow apps, ensuring alignment with requirements and best practices.
• Develop, customize, and enhance ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, App Engine, and Service Portal modules.
• Create and manage complex workflows, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and automation scripts using JavaScript and Flow Designer.
• Develop custom widgets for the Service Portal using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Lead integrations with external systems via REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Integration Hub.
• Ensure platform security, RBAC, and data governance.
• Mentor and lead a team of ServiceNow developers in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Document technical designs for knowledge sharing and handover.
