Job summary

NetImpact Strategies is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to provide hands-on platform engineering for a Federal Agency. This role delivers complex remediation, integrations, automation, scripting, scoped applications, and approved platform enhancements while providing early-window Tier 3 engineering support and protecting upgradeability through reusable, well-tested ServiceNow-native solutions.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and a post-award Government background investigation.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong JavaScript/Glide development skills with ServiceNow APIs.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, MID Servers, and reusable patterns.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, ATF, and governed release promotion.
• CSA and CAD certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and maintain ServiceNow capabilities per stories and designs.
• Perform Tier 3 remediation and root-cause analysis for production issues.
• Develop server- and client-side logic using JavaScript/Glide APIs and platform tools.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP, MID Servers, and credentials.
• Build scoped/low-code apps, catalogs, workflows, and portals with minimal custom code.
• Utilize source control, CI/CD, code scanning, and automated tests for releases.
• Collaborate on design/code reviews and regression coverage with cross-functional teams.
• Provide depth during incidents and releases to restore operations quickly.
• Support security remediation, data quality, and upgradeability efforts.
• Maintain technical docs, release notes, and transition materials.
