Kemper Corporation seeks a Lead ServiceNow Engineer to provide hands-on engineering, solution design, and technical leadership for our enterprise ServiceNow platform. The role works with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions across the platform.

The successful candidate will combine deep ServiceNow expertise with strong design and leadership capabilities, guiding administrators, developers, and partners while driving platform modernization and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Extensive ServiceNow expertise with hands-on engineering and design.
• Strong solution-design and technical-leadership capabilities.
• Experience with enterprise integrations and complex platform issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior SME and engineering resource for the ServiceNow platform.
• Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and support ServiceNow solutions across enterprise use cases.
• Translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow technical designs.
• Provide leadership for complex enhancements, integrations, automation, and platform initiatives.
• Develop solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, notifications, Service Catalog, APIs, and related technologies.
• Design, implement, troubleshoot, and support integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and file-based methods.
• Support integrations involving identity, provisioning, HR, security, monitoring, and other enterprise platforms.
• Provide engineering support for ITSM capabilities including Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, and Service Catalog workflows.
• Analyze upgrade impacts, pursue modernization, and promote out-of-the-box capabilities where possible.
• Mentor ServiceNow admins and developers; participate in platform upgrades and environment management.
