Job summary
Elastic is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our ServiceNow Engineering Team in Mountain View. You will design and implement ServiceNow solutions, build integrations, and drive automation with Now Assist and Moveworks in an Agile setting.
You will own quality through code reviews, testing, and clear documentation, while collaborating across ITSM, HRSD, and CMDB to deliver scalable cloud-based services.
Qualifications
- 5+ years building on ServiceNow
- Solid JavaScript, fluent in the platform data model and Flow Designer
- Hands-on integration and automation - REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, OAuth
- Experience in ITSM plus at least one more module: HRSD, CMDB/CSDM, ITOM
- Clear written and spoken communication
- Experience with Moveworks and Now Assist is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and build across the ServiceNow platform: Flow Designer workflows, business rules, UI policies, Service Portal/UI Builder across ITSM, HRSD, CMDB
- Integrate ServiceNow with the rest of the stack using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP; shape data exposure
- Configure Now Assist and Moveworks for production use, tune against real tickets, set guardrails
- Ensure quality: code reviews, unit tests, clean update sets, yearly upgrades
- Document work to ease future maintenance
