Job summary

ASM Research seeks a ServiceNow Engineer to support the enterprise ServiceNow platform in a federal IT environment. You will work with product owners and process leads to implement changes, upgrades, and new capabilities while minimizing disruption to mission-critical services.

Responsibilities include designing workflows, integrations with APIs/MID servers, planning platform upgrades, and maintaining security and governance. A current secret clearance and 10–25% travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience supporting ServiceNow environments with hands-on engineering or development in large, multi-module instances.
• Experience configuring and customizing core ServiceNow apps and building integrations with APIs and web services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, SAM, SecOps and related apps.
• Develop integrations using APIs, web services, and MID servers to connect ServiceNow with monitoring and business systems.
• Plan and execute platform upgrades, including regression testing, validation, and rollback planning.
• Configure and customize workflows, forms, dashboards, and data models while ensuring performance and security.
• Collaborate with security and compliance stakeholders to meet federal requirements.
• Apply scripting and automation to streamline administration and deployment tasks.
• Troubleshoot platform issues across application, integration, and infrastructure layers.
• Document solutions and procedures to support continuity and audits.
