Northern Trust is seeking a Senior ServiceNow DevOps Developer to design, build, and support scalable DevOps capabilities on the ServiceNow platform, partnering with enterprise teams to automate delivery, improve release quality, and strengthen governance.
The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development, strong JavaScript expertise, and solid experience with REST APIs, CI/CD, and secure integrations, plus the ability to lead technical discussions and mentor engineers.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years hands-on ServiceNow development experience in a large enterprise environment.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow development frameworks/APIs.
- Strong experience implementing and supporting REST APIs, integrations, webhooks, OAuth, and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD technologies such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with source control, automated deployment, testing, and release-management practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across ServiceNow applications, integrations, APIs, and deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of enterprise security, SDLC, change management, and production-support disciplines.
- Ability to lead technical problem solving across multiple engineering teams.
Responsabilités
- Design, develop, configure, test, and support ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop server-side and client-side code using JavaScript and Glide.
- Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and integrations.
- Lead DevOps and release engineering with CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor engineers and ensure adherence to governance and security.
