Job summary

Transamerica is hiring a Sr DevOps Engineer to support ServiceNow SPM and related platform initiatives within a hybrid work model across multiple U.S. hubs, including Philadelphia.

You will design, build, and optimize scalable ServiceNow solutions, partner with product owners, and lead technical delivery in an agile environment. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of ServiceNow development, strong leadership, and a commitment to maintainability and governance.

Qualifications

• Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, MIS, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in Strategic Portfolio Management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, configuration, and support of ServiceNow SPM solutions.
• Partner with the SPM Product Owner to refine requirements, estimate work, and support prioritization.
• Translate roadmaps into secure, scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, Flow Designer solutions, integrations, and ServiceNow APIs.
• Design and support REST/SOAP integrations and other integrations.
• Provide technical leadership across planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and promote secure development practices.
• Support upgrades, release validation, and knowledge transfer.
• Promote out-of-the-box capabilities and governance.
