Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the ServiceNow Platform Team. You will lead design, development, and integration of ServiceNow SPM solutions, partnering with the SPM Product Owner to deliver roadmap initiatives while aligning with governance and security standards.

Responsibilities include building Business Rules, Script Includes, UI policies, REST/SOAP integrations, and driving technical leadership across planning, testing, and deployment in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, MIS, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
• Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in Strategic Portfolio Management., Active ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, development, configuration, and support of ServiceNow SPM solutions.
• Partner with the SPM Product Owner to refine requirements and support prioritization.
• Translate requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, and APIs.
• Design and support REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub integrations, and other ServiceNow capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership across planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex issues and promote best practices.
