Job summary

The University of Notre Dame in Indiana seeks a ServiceNow Developer to join the Office of Information Technology. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with the ServiceNow Asset Management suite, HAM Professional and SAM Professional modules
• ServiceNow development experience, including Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Servers
• Software Development and Architecture: strong principles or data modeling and normalization
• Ability to work in the United States, now or in the future, without visa sponsorship
• Preferred: Implementation certifications or hands-on experience with ITSM or HR modules
• Experience in a large enterprise platform environment (university or public sector)

Responsibilities

• Intelligent Automation: Lead AI-driven solutions in ServiceNow, building AI skills for HR and ITSM to reduce ticket volume
• Platform Skill Building: Design and implement intelligent features using native ServiceNow capabilities (Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, GenAI)
• Full-Lifecycle Ownership: Own the complete development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
• Strategic Project Leadership: Lead major module implementations (GRC, Asset Management, Employee Center) and manage end-to-end delivery
• Advanced Integration: Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Servers
• Platform Health & Optimization: Upgrade planning, core platform administration, and continuous performance improvements
• Consultation & Mentorship: Mentor junior staff and partner with functional users for best-practice solutions
