Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Manager ServiceNow Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technology solutions across the ServiceNow platform. This remote role is open to qualified applicants nationwide in the United States, with strong preference for candidates near Irving, Texas.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Systems Analyst/Process Analyst in IT.
• 4+ years hands-on ServiceNow experience (ITSM/CSM/FSM/Asset Mgmt or related).
• Current ServiceNow CSA certification is required.
• At least one additional active ServiceNow certification (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM, CIS-FSM, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM).
• Proven ability to translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Experience supporting UAT activities, defect tracking, and solution validation.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with stakeholders and teams.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and specs.
• Partner with product owners to prioritize backlogs and support Agile ceremonies.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate UAT, document defects, and support issue resolution efforts.
• Prepare project status updates and communicate risks, dependencies, and mitigations.
• Manage scope discussions and support change requests to ensure project success.
