Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technical solutions across the ServiceNow platform. You will translate requirements into user stories, collaborate with product owners and delivery teams, and lead UAT while coordinating with cross‑functional groups to ensure successful implementations.

The role emphasizes agile scrum participation, stakeholder management, and clear communication across vendors and teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Process Analyst within IT organizations.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, CSM, FSM, Asset Management).
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
• At least one additional active ServiceNow certification (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM, CIS-FSM, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM).
• Experience translating requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with stakeholders and teams.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Prioritize backlogs and support Agile/Scrum ceremonies with product owners.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate UAT, document defects, and support issue resolution efforts.
• Prepare project status updates: progress, risks, dependencies, mitigation plans.
• Manage scope discussions and support change requests to ensure success.
