Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Manager ServiceNow Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology across the ServiceNow platform. Remote position within the United States, with preference for near Irving, Texas.) You will lead discovery, translate requirements into user stories, and support Agile ceremonies through the project lifecycle.

The role demands extensive experience with ServiceNow modules, CSA certification, and additional ServiceNow certifications, plus strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Process Analyst within IT organizations.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, FSM, Asset Management or related).
• Current ServiceNow CSA certification is required.
• At least one additional active ServiceNow certification is required (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM, CIS-FSM, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM).
• Experience gathering requirements and translating to user stories, acceptance criteria, and specs.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement, stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience supporting UAT activities, defect tracking, and solution validation.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional and multi‑vendor environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Prioritize backlogs with product owners and support Agile ceremonies.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document defects, and support resolution efforts.
• Prepare project status updates, communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Manage scope discussions and support change requests to ensure project success.
