Job summary

Providence is seeking a Service Engineer to partner with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to design, operate, and continuously improve enterprise-scale ServiceNow services. You will guide the roadmap, own architecture decisions, and drive reliable, high-performance solutions that enhance caregiver experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years related experience.
• Strong experience in automation related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
• Strong experience with n-tier solutions.
• Strong experience with resilience modeling and simulating outages for service and platform solutions.
• Strong experience influencing engineering teams to translate customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet QoS.
• Strong experience leading backlog discussions and standups to prioritize Live Site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and development for ServiceNow.
• Define Architecture & Platform Strategy.
• Own Integration & Enterprise Architecture Patterns.
• Enable application lifecycle decisions (rationalization, modernization, retirement).
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams using Agile/Scrum.
• Establish Platform Governance & Engineering Standards.
