Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Platform Expert to drive architecture and performance across mission-critical systems. You will design scalable, reliable solutions and collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure end-to-end coherence of our platform.

In this role, you will push for architectural best practices, lead technical reviews, and stay at the edge of emerging technologies to future-proof our platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in integrating AI into enterprise workflows and tools.
• 8+ years in enterprise IT with hands-on ServiceNow platform engineering
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform internals, performance tuning, and customization
• Proficiency in client/server-side JavaScript and Java
• Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Experience with dynamic HTML components (AJAX/JS/CSS/DOM)
• Experience reading application/platform logs; Splunk a plus
• Knowledge of Java JDKs and memory management a plus
• Experience administering Linux/Unix or Windows Server a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to align technical efforts with business goals.
• Conduct technical reviews and platform audits for security, performance, reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and translate them into practical solutions.

• Provide consultative guidance on performance, capacity planning, and infrastructure best practices
