Job summary

BH Management is seeking a Service Technician III to oversee maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks across property assets. You will assist in making units move-in ready and ensure safety standards are met while coordinating with the Community Manager and Service Manager.

The role requires at least three years of progressive maintenance experience, EPA certifications, and reliable tools. Expect on-call responsibilities and routine coordination with the maintenance team at our Laurel, VA

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of progressive maintenance and safety experience.
• EPA 608 certification required (Type I/II/Universal).
• Own a set of industry-specific hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and appliance repairs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and monitor completion within company standards.
• Complete maintenance, repairs, and make-readies for move-ins.
• Identify hazardous conditions and report to supervisors.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs as per BH guidelines.
• Maintain security and inventory of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate weekly make-ready schedules with the team.
• On-call duties and after-hours availability as needed.
