Job summary

Hobart Service is seeking an experienced Service/Repair Technician 4 to provide on-site support for commercial food equipment across customer locations. The role involves installation, repair, and preventive maintenance with on-call and after-hours duties.

Candidates should have 7+ years in food equipment service or 4+ years HVACR service, EPA certification, and strong problem-solving skills. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of food equipment service experience and/or 4+ years of HVACR service experience.
• Industry certificates desirable (CFESA/NATE/Hobart) and EPA certification.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for key customer accounts and service issues.
• Plan, lead, and execute complex technical projects including installations and turnkeys.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration equipment.
