Hobart Food Equipment and Service is seeking a Service/Repair Technician to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers, installing and servicing commercial food equipment. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and HVACR systems, with on-call, after-hours, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4–7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2–4 years of HVACR service experience.
• Associates Degree or Vocational Certificate preferred.
• Industry certification (CFESA/NATE/Hobart) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installs and services commercial food equipment on-site at customer locations.
• Diagnoses, repairs and maintains equipment on contract or time-and-material basis.
• Interprets schematics and follows sequence of operations.
• Practices safety procedures and contributes to a safe work environment.
• Maintains tools and inventory; documents work performed for customers.
