Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager for Service Agreements in North America.

You will oversee the development, standardization, and growth of SLA and HMAX offerings, acting as the primary commercial and proposal contact for long-term service agreements across substations and digital monitoring solutions. Collaborating across Service Sales, Operations, Product Management, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Business Development, you will shape pricing, proposals, and contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related field accepted in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of proposal development experience.
• Technical knowledge, commercial judgment, and contract-facing experience.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and optimization of SLA and HMAX offerings across North America.
• Develop standardized service packages, coverage models, and repeatable lifecycle service frameworks.
• Prepare strategic service agreement proposals and tenders aligned with customer priorities and business goals.
• Coordinate technical, operational, and commercial inputs to deliver high-quality proposals.
• Develop pricing models and methodologies for labor, travel, contingency, escalation, spare parts, and commercial risk.
• Evaluate agreement profitability and risk, validating pricing assumptions with Finance and Operations.
• Support customer presentations, proposal reviews, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor industry trends and opportunities to expand the service portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
