Job summary

ENFRA LLC in Chapel Hill, NC, seeks a Senior Service Project Manager to oversee Service Project Managers, manage project costs, field labor, and subcontractors, and deliver high-quality, safe, on-time projects under budget.

You will lead planning, ensure code compliance, coordinate risk, and manage commissioning, start-up, and customer relationships to drive project success from start to finish.

Qualifications

• 4 Year Degree in Construction Management or applicable fieldwork experience in Plumbing.
• 10+ years verifiable Project Management experience with a mechanical subcontractor in commercial HVAC and Plumbing.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently (e.g., University buildings).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to tackle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry awareness and knowledge of competitors in the space.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the usual scope when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage Service Project Managers.
• Champion of project safety.
• Maintain a safe work environment through safety meetings and investigations.
• Oversee project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
• Plan and lead trades to meet code, project requirements, and schedule within budget.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and uphold ethics.
• Ensure quality to corporate standards and project specs.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Negotiate vendor/subcontractor orders and review submittals.
• Set up job costing and track labor, material, and subcontract costs.
• Submit cost approvals to leadership and monitor financial performance.
• Prepare monthly reports and address deviations early.
• Meet budgets and labor productivity targets.
• Manage cash flow, billing, and subcontractor payments.
• Obtain lien waivers and required tax documents.
• Coordinate and QA of project drawings and Start-up docs.
• Estimate change orders and seek VP approval before customer submission.
• Conduct site visits, document progress, and manage permits.
• Foster strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee risk management, notices, COs, contracts, and bonds.
• Accountability for productivity, safety, and theft.
