Job summary

The Larson Group Peterbilt is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the dealership's service department day-to-day and drive growth and profitability. You will plan, direct, and control service operations in line with established policies while upholding the highest standards of customer service.

Responsibilities include guiding service writers and technicians, monitoring KPI metrics, WIP, and safety, and coordinating with parts and sales to maximize market penetration.

Qualifications

• Should possess a High School diploma.
• A college degree or certificate or degree from a trade school is required.
• Experience in a related field is required.
• Must maintain a Class A or B CDL with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the service department to meet growth and profit objectives.
• Establish short and long-term operating and financial goals for the service department.
• Direct and assist service writers and supervisors; maintain repair order efficiency and productivity targets.
• Maintain records and reports on all service activities; lead weekly KPI, WIP, and productivity meetings.
• Coordinate with parts and service sales to maximize market penetration.
• Ensure safety rules and company policies are followed at all times.
• Solicit new customers and maintain strong customer relations; visit customers to assess needs.

Skills
