Job summary

The Larson Group Peterbilt is seeking an experienced Service Foreman to lead and supervise the service team. You will mentor mechanical personnel, assist in diagnosing customer complaints, write repair orders, and estimate repair costs.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship. Based in Indiana, you’ll coordinate with the Service Manager and Service Writer to ensure timely completion, proper parts pre-planning, and smooth customer communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; trade school certificate preferred.
• CDL required or ability to obtain.
• Experience in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of service technicians and assignment of work.
• Manage technicians' time to meet efficiency and productivity goals.
• Maintain shop policy to keep below 2% of revenue.
• Review work in progress and ensure timely completion; target 15 days closure.
• Inspect and road test vehicles to ensure proper completion of work.
• Enforce safety rules and company policies at all times.
• Resolve customer complaints and keep Service Manager informed.
