Job summary

The Larson Group Peterbilt is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Florida location. You will direct all activities through department managers, establish objectives, and ensure alignment with TLHowals and profitability.

You will lead staffing, budgeting, merchandising strategies, and compliance, while driving customer relations and performance targets across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating an automotive or heavy equipment dealership.
• College degree in business management strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operation of the location and its daily procedures.
• Establish major objectives, plans and programs for daily operations.
• Assist department managers with performance targets and plans in line with company goals.
• Evaluate department results and performance against objectives.
• Ensure staffing with qualified department leaders and maintain proper staffing levels.
• Develop annual and monthly business plans, sales/profit objectives and expense budgets.
• Supervise the sale of trucks, parts, service and body repairs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
