Job summary

The Larson Group Peterbilt is seeking an experienced Used Truck Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Used Truck Department and drive sales goals. You will develop strategies to meet financial targets, analyze budget information, and organize procedures to ensure goals are achieved.

Responsibilities include supervising the sales team, appraising traded trucks, maintaining inventory, and ensuring proper truck conditioning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• A college degree or trade school degree is preferred.
• Experience in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of Used Truck Sales Teams.
• Appraise all used trucks submitted for trade or sale.
• Sell or dispose of wholesale and aged equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels to support the Used Truck Department.
• Oversee that cleanup, repair, and detail of all used trucks is complete.
• Oversee costs billed to the Used Truck Department.
• Responsible for purchasing used trucks to maintain inventory levels.
• Ensure all salespeople are held accountable for floor days/calls/chats.
