Job summary

STYL Residential is seeking a Service Manager in Charlotte, NC to lead a team of Technicians and oversee maintenance operations of the property.

The role focuses on repairs, unit turns, budgeting support, and delivering high levels of customer service to residents. The ideal candidate has extensive maintenance experience and EPA Type I/II certification, plus strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be well organized, detail oriented and efficient.
• Ability to meet deadlines which may include late hours and weekends as needed.
• On-call readiness with proximity to community for rapid response.
• Ability to manage maintenance operations using property management software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and promptly.
• Perform final quality-control inspections of unit turns and vendor work.
• Review maintenance invoices and document purchases and expenses per procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas.
• Vendor management and other duties as assigned.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
• Maintain organized, safe work area.
• Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies.
• Ensure adherence to safety programs and procedures.
• Maintain superior customer service with residents.
• Communicate professionally with residents, associates, vendors, and supervisors.
• Work with Maintenance team on preventative maintenance program.
