Job summary

Capgemini Invent in New York is seeking a Service Design practitioner to design and improve systems spanning people, processes, digital and physical touchpoints, leading design activities and client conversations while mentoring junior colleagues.

You will lead service design workstreams in multidisciplinary teams, create journey maps and blueprints, and balance user, provider, operational, and business needs while applying AI-enabled tools to accelerate research and innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Service Design, Strategic Design, or related discipline.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong service design and visual communication.
• Experience leading service design workstreams in multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communications, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead service design activities across multidisciplinary engagements.
• Create journey maps, service blueprints, ecosystem maps, and visual frameworks.
• Design systemic interventions across complex partner ecosystems.
• Facilitate research, workshops, co-creation, and stakeholder alignment.
• Prototype and validate service concepts through walkthroughs and role play.
• Balance user, provider, operational, and business needs.
• Contribute to proposals, pitches, mentoring, and practice development.
• Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, synthesis, and service innovation.
