RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Senior Server Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise server, virtualization, storage, and hybrid cloud infrastructure across datacenters and data rooms in New Jersey.

You will work with Windows Server, VMware, Citrix, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), implementing patches, runbooks, disaster recovery, and security controls while mentoring peers and delivering excellent support.

Qualifications

Seven years in Information Technology and Services or related field.
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/Unix, AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Experience with virtualization, storage, and cloud across hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve enterprise server, virtualization, storage, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Monitor, troubleshoot, patch, and upgrade Windows Server, VMware, and related systems.
Support cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and disaster recovery processes.
Create documentation, runbooks, and participate in on-call rotations.
Mentor engineers and collaborate with customers, vendors, and teams.
