iconectiv in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to maintain and support our enterprise environment. You will oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems within our operations team.

The role requires hands-on experience with VMware, Linux, Solaris, Windows, Oracle, and storage hardware, plus strong AD/IAM skills. Excellent problem solving and collaboration with multiple teams are essential, with on-call

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in technology-related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of relevant working experience.
Solaris, VMware, Windows and Linux system administration expertise.
Familiar with federated services, SSO solutions, and O365 hosted apps.
Strong Active Directory experience, IAM integration (Okta, etc.).
Proficient in Linux/Unix shell scripting (Python).
Experience with server apps: VMware, Oracle, Windows.
Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP).
Experience in IT service operations, customer care and ticket/incident management.

Responsibilities

Provide system administration maintenance and support for internal service platforms.
Install and rack new equipment in data centers; maintain hardware.
Perform OS installations and configurations (VMware, Linux, Solaris, Windows).
Back up OS and applications; manage incidents and escalations.
Conduct log analysis, troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
Write and test MOPs; ensure adherence to standard procedures.
Maintain technical documentation and participate in off-hours maintenance.
