Job summary

Soils, Inc-2 is seeking a Septic Installer to install septic systems according to project plans and company standards. You will build on Septic Installer 1 experience and help train junior staff while performing advanced installation tasks outdoors.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 1–2 years of septic install experience, and the ability to operate construction equipment such as skid steers. You’ll work with a team and contribute to ongoing site improvements.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• 1-2 years of septic install experience.
• Previous experience in septic system installation preferred.
• Ability to operate construction equipment such as skid steers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical plans and instructions.
• Team-oriented with willingness to mentor and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a valid driver’s license and comply with all safety regulations.
• Perform all duties of a Septic Installer 1.
• Lay pipes according to project plans and regulatory standards, using the appropriate pipe types and connectors.
• Operate the grade pole to ensure proper system alignment and installation.
• Operate a skid steer to transport and distribute stone to ditches and installation sites.
• Assist in training and mentoring Septic Installer 1 team members.
• Develop skills and knowledge to progress toward the responsibilities of a Septic Installer 3.
