Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Systems Engineering Manager 2 for the Sentinel Program. The role leads a team of roughly ten engineers, owns WPL responsibilities, and coordinates cost, schedule, and EV activities. Competitive relocation assistance may be offered.

The position requires a STEM degree with extensive SE lifecycle experience and an active DoD Secret clearance (Top Secret potential). Strong leadership and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 8 years related experience, 6 years with a Masters
• 2+ years of Systems Engineering Lifecycle experience in requirements development, architecture, verification planning, and interface definition
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Own technical and programmatic leadership for a team of ~10 FTE performing systems engineering functions
• Serve as a Work Package Lead (WPL) with cost, schedule, and earned value responsibilities
• Generate OPSCON documentation to identify equipment needs for maintenance of prime mission systems
• Perform System Architecture modeling (IBD, BDD, branch integrity, model merge)
• Develop and mature interface products (IER, IDD, ICM)
• Define requirements and verification approaches for 200+ equipment/training devices
• Manage employee performance, mentorship, training, and career development
