Job summary

Dexcom in San Diego is seeking a Sensor Process Development professional to develop and improve manufacturing processes for CGM sensors. You will connect process science with equipment solutions to boost yield, reliability, and scalability across global operations.

The role requires hands-on experience in regulated manufacturing, strong DOE and statistical analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate across R&D, Quality, Automation, and Operations to deliver robust production processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and improving complex manufacturing processes in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of how materials, process parameters, equipment performance, environment and test methods affect product quality.
• Experience defining and validating manufacturing processes for CGM devices or biosensors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, characterize, optimize, and transfer end-to-end glucose sensor manufacturing processes from concept through production.
• Design and execute process characterization studies and DOE to establish critical parameters and controls.
• Translate product and process requirements into equipment specs and work with vendors to scale manufacturing.
• Lead technical workstreams for equipment design reviews, testing, qualification, and deployment.
• Analyze development and production data to improve process capability, yield, throughput, and reliability.
