Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a seasoned SPW operations leader in California to oversee self-perform project delivery, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality across multiple projects. You will guide SPW teams, coordinate with design and general contracting, and uphold DPR’s safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 10–12 years in construction operations or project management, a related bachelor’s degree, and OSHA 30 certification (preferred; 6-month window).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10–12 years of experience in construction operations, project management, or field supervision.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Leads SPW project execution from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
• Oversees project planning, resource allocation, and cost management for operational efficiency and profitability.
• Mentors SPW project teams including PMs, engineers, and superintendents for professional growth.
• Coordinates SPW scopes with design and general contracting teams to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
• Reviews budgets, forecasts, and procurement strategies for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Ensures adherence to safety and quality programs through site engagement and performance monitoring.
• Assesses processes to identify performance improvements and develop best practices.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
