Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced SPW project leader to oversee Self-Perform Work programs, delivering scope, schedule, cost, and quality across multiple trades and projects. You will guide SPW teams, coordinate with design and GC partners, and ensure safety, adherence to budgets, and efficient procurement.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and 10–12 years in construction operations, with OSHA 30 preferred and a plan to complete it

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in construction operations, project management, or field supervision.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads SPW project execution from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
• Oversees planning, resource allocation, and cost management to maintain efficiency and profitability.
• Mentors SPW project teams, including PMs, engineers, and superintendents, for professional growth.
• Collaborates with design and GC teams to coordinate SPW scopes and resolve technical/logistical challenges.
• Reviews and approves project budgets, forecasts, and procurement strategies for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Ensures safety and quality programs are followed through site engagement and performance monitoring.
• Regularly assesses processes to identify performance improvements and develops best practices.
