Job summary

SHONCO Enterprise seeks a Senior Operations Manager to drive the self-perform project portfolio, ensuring profit and disciplined execution across preconstruction, planning, and field delivery. You will own the operations playbook, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with estimating, accounting, safety, and leadership to keep projects on budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive construction leadership experience.
• Experience managing project financials at portfolio level (WIP, forecasted margin).
• Strong labor-management background with productivity analysis.
• Experience in contract review, change orders, and project risk management.
• Proven ability to build, standardize, or refine operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational playbook for self-perform delivery, including scheduling, forecasting, reporting, change management, documentation, quality, and closeout.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews, project health reviews, and jobsite visits to ensure alignment of plans, forecasts, schedules, and execution.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive practical improvements to increase consistency, speed, and accountability.
• Coordinate across field leadership, estimating, accounting, safety, procurement, and leadership to resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, or risk.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of PM staff; manage performance and succession planning.
