Job summary

Next 150 Construction Services, an entity of Gilbane Building, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to translate strategic plans into disciplined execution across a growing portfolio. You will partner with leadership, finance, safety, and HR to drive consistency, mitigate risk, and embed enterprise standards within the subsidiary.

The role emphasizes operational rigor, multi-year financial planning, and governance alignment while enabling growth and scalability across markets and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 15+ years relevant experience including oversight of self-perform operations.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads preparation, documentation, and follow-up for divisional operating rhythms, including project reviews and staffing reviews.
• Standardizes operating practices to improve predictability and scalability across markets and delivery models.
• Acts as liaison between project teams and leadership to align strategy, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Analyzes feedback and works with internal resources to develop and implement process improvements.
• Supports project startup readiness including scope review, staffing plans, and initial financial setup.
• Develops companywide Standard Operating Procedures for jobsite standards and safety baselines.
• Ensures alignment with Enterprise SOPs and subsidiary governance.
• Supports delivery of the financial plan with emphasis on performance and forecast accuracy.
• Leads risk mitigation using Project Vitals and enterprise governance requirements.
