Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Experienced Estimator for Self-Perform Operations (SPO) concrete. You will prepare detailed SPO concrete estimates from drawings and specs, communicate bids and scopes of work, and collaborate with the Preconstruction team to refine approach.

The role requires 3+ years of concrete estimating, strong reading of contracts and drawings, and proficiency with InEight or similar software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of detailed concrete estimating experience.
• Ability to read, interpret contract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating documents and quantitative analysis.
• Proficient in project management and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction practices and trade coordination.
• Familiar with estimating software such as InEight.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed SPO concrete estimates from drawings and specs.
• Generate quantity take-offs, analysis, inputs, and studies.
• Develop labor productivity rates and maintain vendor pricing.
• Assemble bids for Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost Plus contracts.
• Coordinate with Preconstruction and SPO Manager on scope and risk.
• Lead document management and distribute to stakeholders.
• Attend constructability reviews and communicate issues.
• Support post-bid reviews and procurement recommendations.
